Kanai Juyo Kogyo established the “Technology Innovation Division” in 2014 with the aim of creating new businesses following its textile machinery and non-woven businesses.
We are particularly focused on expanding applications in the fields of medical equipment and carbon fiber. In the medical equipment field, we have used our core technologies to collaborate with industry, government, academia, medicine and engineering to develop the world's first Class IV medical device "Non-woven Spacer," which was made in Japan, for use in minimally invasive cancer radiation therapy.
In the carbon fiber field, we own the production lines dedicated to carbon fiber non-woven fabrics, such as insulation for vehicles and base for molded insulation materials. We are working with manufacturers in a variety of industries to create environmentally friendly products, including nonwoven base materials for CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) and spun yarn, by using recycled carbon fibers extracted from CFRP.
We will continue to challenge for technology innovation in order to create things that are needed in the world.

Kanai Juyo Kogyo is engaged in research and development in three divisions: textile machinery business, non-woven business, and new business.
Our Technology Innovation Division aims to develop new businesses that create new value by applying and expanding our core technologies and works together with other divisions to create better products. As a research and development division, it will create new value from our core technologies and develop technologies that will be connected to the next generation.

Kanai Juyo Kogyo is actively seeking information on the needs of medical facilities in order to develop medical equipment that aims to reduce the burden on medical professionals and patients.
In addition to utilizing the metal and fiber processing technology that we have cultivated so far, we also have extensive experience in joint development and patent applications in collaboration with industry, government, academia, and medical engineering.
