In 1958, Kanai Juyo Kogyo applied its textile machinery technology to launch the non-woven fabric business. As one of the four pioneering companies in the Japanese nonwoven fabric industry, it started manufacturing nonwoven fabric.
Non-Woven fabrics have a wide range of applications depending on the material, processing, and use applications, and are used in a wide range of applications from building air conditioning filters and automobile interior materials to household and industrial uses.
While thin fabrics that can be mass-produced are the norm, Kanai Juyo Kogyo mainly produces thick fabrics and performs processing with various resins, allowing it to enter fields that any competitors cannot imitate and respond to niche markets as a leading company in the non-woven fabric field.

Polishing Wheel for Printed Circuit Boards

Polishing Materials used in the manufacture of printed circuit boards, which are essential for all electronic devices.

KANAI's specialty is custom-made nonwoven polishing wheels, which are produced in an integrated manufacturing process from design to mass production. Nonwoven abrasives (materials) have a half-century of experience and have a long track record in the printed circuit board industry. In addition, the integrated manufacturing process allows us to freely change the fiber diameter, abrasive particles and resin amount, making it possible to develop original wheels according to customers’ needs.
