1894
"KANAI TRAVELLER MFG CO." was established in Amagasaki City and started manufacturing of Traveller.
1934
"The Special Steel Wire Factory" was established in Amagasaki City.
1943
Kanai Juyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established due to organizational change.
1952
Kanai Machinery Co., Ltd. was established.
*Later, it became Kanai Wheels Co., Ltd. / until 1997.
1956
Arima Hot Spring Kosenkaku opened.
1958
Manufacturing of non-woven fabrics started.
1973
The special steel wire business was separated and established as “TOKUSEN KOGYO CO., LTD.”
1975
Arima Hot Spring Kosenkaku was separated and established as “Kosenkaku Co., Ltd.”
1989
"TOKUSEN U.S.A., Inc." was established in Conway City, Arkansas, USA, as a foreign subsidiary.
1994
100th anniversary of Kanai Group
1995
Tokusen Engineering Co., Ltd. was established.
2001
Japan Fine Steel Co., Ltd. (in Yamaguchi Pref.) was acquired.
2003
Kanai Tokusen Kogyo Co., Ltd. was established in Shanghai, China, as a foreign subsidiary. / until 2024.
2013
TOKUSEN U.S.A., Inc. acquired Hytech Spring & Machine Corp. in Plainwell City, Michigan, USA.
2017
Kanai Holdings Co., Ltd. was established.

In 1973, our special steel wire business was separated and established as TOKUSEN KOGYO CO., LTD.
With our wish for "realizing an affluent society," we have earned high praise from our customers in a wide range of fields, including wires used for tires and engine parts, as well as medical care, semiconductors, home appliances, and solar power generation.
Kosenkaku, Arima Hot Spring Source
In 1975, it became independent from the inn division of Kanai Juyo Kogyo Co., Ltd. and was established as Kosenkaku, Co., Ltd.
“Kosenkaku, Arima Hot Spring Source” has its own hot spring source that is rare even in Arima Hot Spring area, and it is a Japanese-style inn famous for serving delicious traditional Japanese multi-course meal.
Japan Fine Steel Co., Ltd.
In 2001, Kanai Juyo Kogyo acquired Japan Fine Steel Co., Ltd. (in Yamaguchi Pref.), which manufactures, processes, and sells special steel.
Utilizing its precision technology, high-quality steel materials are provided for automobiles, industrial machines and electronic equipment. It has built trust both in Japan and overseas with product development and services that meet customer needs.
